My name is Aleksandra, I am Polish but I live in Canada and speak English, Polish and French.

I'm currently studying French and hope to teach this language.

I made this Deviant Art account for my Polish translation of Elisabeth Das Musical. I will also be posting all my Elisabeth related art and photos here.

I found out about Elisabeth in 2006. When I was looking up German versions of Phantom of the Opera I came across this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_83VU…

I was hooked on the song "Wenn Ich Tanzen Will" ever since, and its one of my favourite songs to this day. I even made a DVD of myself playing Elisabeth opposite an invisible Der Tod with Uwe Kroger's voice for my mother's birthday.

I did eventually find the entire Essen version of Elisabeth on youtube (www.youtube.com/playlist?list=…) and (www.youtube.com/watch?v=5G-xvx…), and then in 2010/11 when I studied in France, I went to Germany and then to Austria and picked up some of the CDs and the DVD of the 2005 Vienna revival. In Vienna, I visited the Hofburg and Schonebrun where Elisabeth lived, and the Theater an der Wien where the original and revival were performed.

In 2012 I visited Budapest's Operetta theatre where Elisabeth was performed and the Elisabeth monument and Bridge. Afterwards I returned to Vienna.

Mam na imie Aleksandra, jestem Polka ale urodzilam sie w Kanadzie. Mowie po Angilesku, Polsku i Francuzku.

Z gory przepraszam za dosyc kiepska gramatyke, brak akcentow ktorych nie mam na klawiaturze, mieszanie "rz" z "z z kropka" albo "o" z "o zamkniete," i brak znajomosci jezyka potocznego, regionalnego, gwary i slangu. Polskiego nauczylam sie od wspanialej Babci.

Od razu spodobala mi sie piosenka "Wenn Ich Tanzen Will" i od tego czasu jest jedna z moich ulubionych piosenek. Nawet zrobilam DVD w ktorym gralam role Elisabeth z niewidzialnym Der Todem ktory spiewal glosem Uwe Kroger. To byl prezent na urodziny mojej mamy.

W koncu znalazlam cala wersje Elisabeth z Essen na youtube (www.youtube.com/playlist?list=…) i (www.youtube.com/watch?v=5G-xvx…), i potem, w 2010/11 kiedy studiowalam we Francji, pojechalam do Niemiec i potem do Austrii gdzie kupilam plyty i dysk DVD z wersja Wiedenska z 2005 roku. W Wiedniu odwiedzilam zamki Hofburg i Schonebrun w ktorych Elisabeth mieszkala, i teatr An Der Wien gdzie przedstawiano po raz pierwszy Elisabeth jak rowniez wersje z 2005 roku.
