Wicked Princesses

NOTE: "Wicked" is NOT a German musical . . . however there is a German version (WITH PIA DOUWES!!!!!), and I wanted to make Glinda and Elphaba part of the series.

This art is dedicated to , a dear friend of mine who I promised Wicked art to before

I had a blast making them. I chose Glinda's blue dress, but it has lower detail than the musical one. Elphaba's dress is very simple, but it looks good on her It's the dress she wears when she and Glinda sing "popular."

Elphaba is based on real Disney princess Nancy from "Enchanted," because Nancy was played by the original Broadway Elphaba - Idina Menzel. The two girls couldn't be more different in personality, but they're both great fairytale-type characters

Animals surround Elphaba because she loves animals and fights against the Wizard of Oz for animal rights. I thought it was a nice connection to Disney Princesses, who always have animal sidekicks.
